Smart Showroom Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to the Grosvenor Flooring Smart Showroom. By submitting your details via our web form and receiving an access code, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1.⁠ ⁠Access to the Smart Showroom

1.1. To gain access to the Grosvenor Flooring Smart Showroom, you must provide your full name, residential address, email address, and phone number via our designated web form.

1.2. Upon successful submission of your details, Grosvenor Flooring will process this information to validate your identity.

1.3. An access code for the smart lock will be sent to the phone number you provided via SMS. This code is unique to you and is for your sole use.

1.4. You agree not to share your access code with any third party. Unauthorized access or sharing of access codes may result in the immediate revocation of your access and potential legal action.

1.5. Grosvenor Flooring reserves the right to refuse access to any individual at its sole discretion, without providing a reason.

2.⁠ ⁠Use of the Smart Showroom

2.1. The Smart Showroom is provided for the purpose of viewing Grosvenor Flooring products and taking samples.

2.2. You agree to use the Smart Showroom responsibly and respectfully. This includes, but is not limited to:

a. Not causing any damage to the showroom, its fixtures, fittings, or contents.

b. Not bringing any illegal substances or items into the showroom.

c. Not engaging in any illegal or disruptive activities within the showroom.

d. Leaving the showroom in a tidy and orderly condition upon your departure.

e. Ensuring the smart lock is engaged and the showroom is secured when you leave.

2.3. You are solely responsible for your personal belongings while in the Smart Showroom. Grosvenor Flooring accepts no liability for any loss or damage to personal property.

2.4. Grosvenor Flooring reserves the right to monitor the Smart Showroom via CCTV for security and operational purposes.

3.⁠ ⁠Use of Customer Contact Details

3.1. By providing your name, address, email, and phone number, you explicitly consent to Grosvenor Flooring collecting, storing, and using this information for the following purposes:

a. Identity Validation: To verify your identity and ensure the security of our Smart Showroom access system.

b. Access Provision: To send you the access code via SMS.

c. Marketing Communications: To send you marketing communications, including but not limited to, information about Grosvenor Flooring products, promotions, offers, and news, via email, SMS, or postal mail. You can opt-out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or by contacting us directly.

3.2. Grosvenor Flooring will process your personal data in accordance with all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 4.⁠ ⁠Flooring Samples

4.1. Customers are permitted to take flooring samples from the Smart Showroom to try them out at home.

4.2. All samples remain the property of Grosvenor Flooring.

4.3. You agree to return all samples to the Smart Showroom within ten (10) working days of taking them.

4.4. Samples must be returned in the same condition in which they were taken, reasonable wear and tear excepted.

4.5. Failure to return samples within the stipulated timeframe, or returning damaged samples (beyond reasonable wear and tear), may result in Grosvenor Flooring charging you for the cost of replacement of the unreturned or damaged samples. An invoice will be issued for such costs, payable within 14 days.

5.⁠ ⁠Limitation of Liability

5.1. Grosvenor Flooring will not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the Smart Showroom, including but not limited to, any damage to property, personal injury, or financial loss, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

5.2. Grosvenor Flooring does not warrant that the Smart Showroom will be available at all times or that access will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5.3. In no event shall Grosvenor Flooring’s total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort, including but not limited to, negligence, or otherwise) exceed the sum of £100.

6.⁠ ⁠Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Grosvenor Flooring, its directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your misuse of the Smart Showroom, breach of these Terms and Conditions, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

7.⁠ ⁠Changes to Terms and Conditions

Grosvenor Flooring reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the Smart Showroom after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

8.⁠ ⁠Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
