Both work well; it depends on what you want. LVT is warmer than tile, more allergy-friendly than carpet (no fibres for dust mites), easier to clean and lets you run one floor continuously from the bedroom into a hallway or en-suite. With a wool rug under the bed it can be every bit as warm and quiet as carpet, while being far lower maintenance.

LVT is warmer underfoot than tile or stone and warmer than laminate and it pairs very well with underfloor heating in a principal bedroom. If you want extra softness first thing in the morning, a deep rug beside or under the bed gives you the best of both.

A quality LVT resists indentation well, but heavy items like a bed or wardrobe can still leave marks over years of static load. Felt pads under legs and castor cups under wheels spread the weight and prevent marking and a thicker wear layer adds extra resistance if the room is heavily furnished.

A 0.3mm wear layer such as Amtico First or Karndean Knight Tile is plenty for a bedroom, which sees little traffic. The main reason to step up to 0.55mm is to match the same range across an adjoining hallway or en-suite for a continuous floor, rather than for durability in the bedroom itself.

Both are fine. Glue-down suits a refurb where the old floor is being lifted. Click rigid-core ranges have an acoustic backing built in and on a glue-down install over a sensitive joist floor we can specify an acoustic underlayment between the subfloor and the LVT to take impact sound down a few decibels.
