Amtico Flooring in Altrincham
Grosvenor Flooring is an Amtico Retail Partner in Altrincham with the full current collection on display — including Amtico Signature, Amtico Spacia, Amtico Form, Amtico Access, Amtico Click Smart and Amtico First. Amtico is still the benchmark for premium luxury vinyl tile in the UK and the most asked-for brand in Altrincham, Hale and Bowdon homes where finish, longevity and design flexibility matter more than price.
Visiting the showroom is the fastest way to see Amtico in context: planks and tiles laid out full-size, stone effects placed alongside the wood effects so you can judge scale and tone against your own photographs, plus the accessories, borders and laying patterns that make Amtico different from every other LVT brand. You can see the whole Amtico collection on full-size display at any time. Free samples are available on our own GF range if you would like to compare at home. When you are ready, we supply and fit your Amtico as one managed job — see our Amtico floor fitter page.

Karndean Flooring in Altrincham
As a Karndean Retail Partner, Grosvenor Flooring carries the complete Karndean portfolio: Art Select, Knight Tile, Knight Tile Rigid Core, Palio Essenza, Van Gogh and Van Gogh Rigid Core. Karndean is the other premium LVT name Altrincham customers come in asking for and it competes head-to-head with Amtico on design and durability. Which is right for you usually comes down to the specific look you want — which is exactly why comparing them side by side in a proper showroom matters.
Our Karndean displays let you put a Van Gogh oak plank directly next to an Amtico Signature wood plank, a Knight Tile Rigid Core sample next to an Amtico Form, a Knight Tile range next to the equivalent Amtico Spacia. That kind of direct comparison is not possible online — and it is the single most common reason Altrincham customers tell us they walked in. When you have chosen, we supply and fit it — see our Karndean floor fitter page.

GF by Associated Weavers
Premium-spec glue-down LVT, without the brand premium
Made by Associated Weavers, a long-established European flooring manufacturer, and sold direct by us, so the specification stays high and the price stays sharp.
Invictus & Project Floors
Beyond Amtico and Karndean, our showroom carries the full Invictus and Project Floors collections — two premium European LVT brands that have been quietly taking market share from the British incumbents. From Invictus we stock Maximus, Maximus Click, Primus and Ultimus, plus the full Project Floors Wood Plank Collection, Herringbone and Chevron ranges. Invictus is our pick for anyone who wants top-end looks at a lower price point than Amtico Signature and Project Floors is often the answer for customers who want German-engineered performance and heavy-duty wear layers for busier households or rental properties across Altrincham and Sale.
Read our introduction to Invictus luxury vinyl flooring for a full breakdown of the ranges — or visit the showroom and compare all four premium brands in one place.
Engineered Wood Flooring – Visit Our Wood Room
Real wood flooring needs to be seen in large boards, not postage-stamp samples. That is why we built a dedicated Wood Room — a purpose-designed showroom space just for engineered wood flooring with leading brands and our exclusive GF range.
For Altrincham, Hale and Bowdon customers, the Wood Room is the part of the showroom most people spend longest in. It is the only space of its kind in the area and it is the only way to properly compare the subtle differences between, say, a rustic brushed oak and a smoked European oak, or to see how different finish layers (matt lacquer, oiled, hardwax-oiled, UV-oiled) look under natural light — critical when the floor has to sit alongside original features in a period Bowdon property or carry through a full open-plan extension in Hale.
Alongside our exclusive GF range, we supply and fit premium engineered wood from Kahrs and Parador, two of the most respected names in real wood flooring. In the Wood Room you will find:

Serving Altrincham & South Trafford
Our showroom is in the heart of Altrincham at 82 Stamford New Road, WA14 1BS — a few minutes on foot from Altrincham Metrolink, Altrincham railway station, the Market House and the Downs with on-site parking at the door. From here we cover Altrincham, Hale, Hale Barns, Bowdon, Dunham Massey, Timperley, Broadheath, Oldfield Brow, Sale and the wider WA14 and WA15 postcodes as our immediate local area.
We regularly complete projects across the area — from single-room refreshes on Oldfield Brow, to period home restorations in Bowdon, to full open-plan kitchen-diner installations in Hale and Hale Barns, to contemporary new builds off the Broadheath corridor, to rental property turnarounds in central Altrincham. Because we are on your doorstep, fitting and delivery dates are easier to coordinate, last-minute sample drops are practical and our fitters know the access quirks of the area’s narrower residential streets.
Prefer not to come to us? We offer a free home visit service — we will bring selected samples and the measuring kit to your property and talk you through the options. Every home visit is carried out by Blake Williams, our Operations Director. Enquire about a home visit.

Where exactly is your Altrincham showroom?
82 Stamford New Road, Altrincham, WA14 1BS — a short walk from Altrincham Metrolink, Altrincham train station and the Market House with on-site parking at the door.
Can I visit outside normal working hours?
Yes. Our Altrincham showroom is a 24/7 Smart Showroom — request a door code through our website or scan the QR code on the front of the showroom and you can walk the full showroom any hour of any day, including evenings and weekends. The Smart Showroom is Grosvenor Flooring’s own concept and is the only setup of its kind in Altrincham.
Do you supply and fit, or just sell flooring?
We do both and most Altrincham customers choose full supply and fit. We handle the whole project with a regular team of fitters we know and trust, including a free home survey, all-inclusive pricing and a finished floor. We are happy to supply only if you have your own fitter. See our supply and fit service.
Which LVT brands do you stock?
We are an Amtico Retail Partner and a Karndean Retail Partner and we also carry the full Invictus, Project Floors, Harvey Maria, Moduleo and our own-brand GF LVT collections. You can compare every premium brand side by side in a single visit.
Do you sell engineered wood flooring?
Is the flooring suitable for underfloor heating?
Most of our LVT and engineered wood ranges are UFH-compatible, but the specifics depend on the subfloor, the system type and the board construction. We will check every option in detail as part of your quote to make sure you do not end up with a floor that is not suitable.
Can I take samples home?
Free samples are available on our own GF range and on Textures and Elements, so you can trial them against your own lighting, furniture and paint colours at home. Amtico, Karndean, Invictus and Project Floors are on full-size display in the showroom.
Seen V4, Ted Todd or Woodpecker Elsewhere? Compare Them with GF
A lot of Altrincham, Hale and Bowdon customers walk into our Wood Room after seeing V4, Ted Todd or Woodpecker in a competitor showroom. Those are all excellent premium engineered wood brands — but they are priced at the top of the market and in most cases our exclusive GF range offers a virtually identical board construction, finish and wear layer at a meaningful saving.
If you have already been quoted for a premium brand and are wondering whether there is a better value alternative that does not compromise on quality, read our guides:
Bring a sample or a quote with you and we will put it next to the equivalent GF range in the Wood Room — you can judge for yourself.
