Do you supply and fit, or just sell flooring?

We do both and most Altrincham customers choose full supply and fit. Yes — we have a dedicated Wood Room showroom space with leading engineered wood brands and our exclusive GF range. You will find Plank, Herringbone, Chevron and Versailles formats from 10mm to 20mm thickness, including Kahrs and Parador.

Is the flooring suitable for underfloor heating?

Most of our LVT and engineered wood ranges are UFH-compatible, but the specifics depend on the subfloor, the system type and the board construction. We will check every option in detail as part of your quote to make sure you do not end up with a floor that is not suitable.

Can I take samples home?

Yes — we do not limit sample numbers. You can take whatever you need to trial against your own lighting, furniture and paint colours at home.
