Description
Karndean Knight Tile Rigid Core Pale Limed Oak is a pale limed oak luxury vinyl plank in a click-fit rigid SPC format. Part of the Knight Tile Rigid Core range, it gives you Karndean’s look and build quality at the most accessible price point. It has a 4.5mm waterproof core and a pre-attached acoustic underlay. For a fully bonded finish, see Pale Limed Oak in glue-down Knight Tile.
Knight Tile Rigid Core uses a 2G click-lock system that floats over most existing hard subfloors, so it fits over tile, concrete or old vinyl with minimal preparation and suits both DIY and professional installation. The pre-attached acoustic underlay means there is no separate underlay to buy.
Because it is 100% waterproof, Pale Limed Oak suits every room in the home, including kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms. It is compatible with wet and electric underfloor heating up to a maximum surface temperature of 27C.
With a 0.3mm wear layer it is well matched to normal home use and light commercial spaces. For higher-traffic homes, a herringbone finish or the thickest wear layer, step up to Karndean Van Gogh Rigid Core or Karndean Art Select.
As a Karndean Approved Retailer, Grosvenor Flooring supplies Knight Tile Rigid Core with a lifetime residential warranty and a 10-year commercial warranty. Each pack covers 2.74m2. Fast UK delivery is available.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Karndean Knight Tile Rigid Core Pale Limed Oak waterproof?
Yes. Knight Tile Rigid Core is 100% waterproof thanks to its rigid SPC core and K-Guard+ surface, so it can be fitted in any room including kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms. Spills and everyday moisture will not damage the floor.
What size are the Pale Limed Oak planks and how much does a pack cover?
Each plank measures 914.4mm x 150.0mm and every pack covers 2.74m2. To estimate how many packs you need, divide your room area in square metres by 2.74, then add around 10% for cutting and waste.
How is Knight Tile Rigid Core installed?
It uses a 2G click-lock system and floats over most existing hard subfloors such as tile, concrete or old vinyl, so there is no glue or adhesive. The subfloor should be clean, dry and broadly level. This makes it well suited to renovations and DIY installation.
Does Knight Tile Rigid Core need a separate underlay?
No. It has a pre-attached acoustic underlay, so you do not need to buy a separate underlay. This saves time on installation and helps reduce impact sound between floors.
Can Knight Tile Rigid Core be used with underfloor heating?
Yes. It is compatible with both wet and electric underfloor heating, subject to a maximum surface temperature of 27C. Follow Karndean's guidance for warm-up procedures when fitting over underfloor heating.
What warranty does Knight Tile Rigid Core have and how does it compare to Van Gogh?
Knight Tile Rigid Core carries a lifetime residential warranty and a 10-year commercial warranty when fitted by a Karndean Approved Retailer. It is Karndean's entry-level click range with a 0.3mm wear layer. For a thicker 0.55mm wear layer, a herringbone option and a more design-led range, Karndean Van Gogh Rigid Core is the step up.
