Description
Karndean Palio Essenza Procida Limestone (PVT704) is a glue-down luxury vinyl tile that captures the look of dark charcoal tumbled limestone. Part of the Palio Essenza range, it gives you the style of natural limestone without the cold hard feel or the upkeep.
Each tile measures 304.8mm x 457.2mm and is 2mm thick with a 0.3mm wear layer and a protective PU coating that resists everyday scratches and scuffs. The non-bevelled edge creates a smooth near-seamless tiled surface. An R10 slip-resistance rating adds grip in busy areas.
With its 0.3mm wear layer, Procida Limestone is best matched to normal residential traffic and light commercial settings (use class 23 and 31). For very high-traffic or statement projects, Karndean Van Gogh or Karndean Art Select step up the wear layer.
Procida Limestone suits kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, utility rooms and open-plan living. It is water-resistant and performs well in wet areas when installed with the correct adhesives and perimeter detailing. The stone tiles can be laid in a classic brick bond with or without design strips to create a grout effect. It is compatible with wet and electric underfloor heating up to a maximum surface temperature of 27C.
As a Karndean Approved Retailer, Grosvenor Flooring supplies Palio Essenza with a 20-year residential warranty and a 10-year commercial warranty for moderate commercial settings. Each pack covers 3.345m2. Fast UK delivery is available.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Karndean Palio Essenza Procida Limestone waterproof?
Palio Essenza is water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. As a glue-down floor with a PU-coated surface it performs well in kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways when installed with the correct adhesives and perimeter detailing. Wipe up spills promptly and it will keep its finish for years.
Can the Procida Limestone tiles be laid in different patterns?
Yes. The 304.8mm x 457.2mm stone tiles can be laid in a classic brick bond with or without design strips to create a grout effect. This lets you set the look from a clean modern grid to a more traditional stone-tiled finish.
Does Procida Limestone need professional installation?
As a glue-down floor it gives the best and longest-lasting finish when fitted by a professional over a clean, level and fully prepared subfloor. Confident DIYers can lay it themselves, but careful subfloor preparation is essential.
What size are the Procida Limestone tiles and how much does a pack cover?
Each tile measures 304.8mm x 457.2mm and every pack covers 3.345m2. To estimate how many packs you need, divide your room area in square metres by 3.345, then add around 10% for cutting and waste. The minimum order is 6 packs.
Can this floor be used with underfloor heating?
Yes. Palio Essenza is compatible with both wet and electric underfloor heating, subject to a maximum surface temperature of 27C. Follow Karndean's installation guidance for warm-up procedures and adhesive selection when fitting over underfloor heating.
How durable is Palio Essenza and is it suitable for commercial use?
Palio Essenza has a 0.3mm wear layer and is rated to use class 23 (domestic heavy) and 31 (commercial moderate) with R10 slip resistance. It is well matched to normal home use and light commercial settings such as small offices or boutiques. For very high-traffic or statement projects, Karndean Van Gogh (0.55mm) or Karndean Art Select (0.7mm) step up the specification.
