V4 Urban Nature Granite Smoke Herringbone UNH203 is a 15mm engineered oak herringbone from the V4 Urban Nature collection. Every board in Urban Nature is cross-sawn, hand-scraped, distressed and brushed, so a brand-new floor has the texture and worn character of reclaimed timber. Granite Smoke is a smoked oak in a mid-brown tone, sealed with a clear UV oil so the natural colour variation from the smoking process stays on show.
It is built as an engineered board at 15mm total thickness with a 4.0mm solid oak top layer, which lets it be sanded and refinished in future and gives it far more dimensional stability than solid wood. The 125 x 600mm boards cover 1.2 square metres per pack, with 8 left-hand and 8 right-hand boards in each pack to make up the herringbone pattern, and are fully bonded to a prepared subfloor. It is suitable for use over underfloor heating where the subfloor is correctly prepared. It sits in the V4 Urban Nature collection within the wider V4 range.
