Amtico Flooring Prices Cost Guide

Amtico Flooring Prices Cost Guide

Amtico Flooring Prices: How Much Does Amtico Cost?

Amtico is a premium LVT brand, and the price reflects that — but the cost varies significantly depending on which range you choose, the size of your project and whether you need supply only or supply and fit. Understanding how Amtico’s pricing works before you request a quote means you can budget accurately and choose the right range for your project without overspending or under-specifying.

At Grosvenor Flooring we are an Amtico Approved Retail Partner, supplying the full Amtico range nationwide and offering supply and fit for customers in Altrincham, Manchester and Cheshire. We quote on a per-project basis — and if you have a competing quote from another retailer, we will do our best to beat it.

Why Amtico Does Not Display Prices Online

If you have been searching for Amtico prices, you will have noticed that no approved retailer publishes them openly. This is standard practice for Amtico — pricing is provided on a request-a-quote basis rather than displayed on product pages. There are practical reasons for this: project pricing depends on the range, the quantity ordered, the complexity of the layout (particularly with Amtico Signature bespoke designs) and whether supply-only or supply-and-fit is required.

What this means in practice is that the best way to get an accurate Amtico price is to contact an approved retailer directly with your room measurements, preferred range and any designs you have shortlisted. At Grosvenor Flooring we typically respond with a full quote the same working day.

How Amtico Ranges Compare on Price

Amtico produces six collections, and the price increases as you move up through the specification tiers. While we cannot publish specific per-square-metre figures, we can explain where each range sits relative to the others and what you get for the additional investment.

Amtico First — Entry Level

Amtico First is the most affordable collection in the range. It features a 0.3mm wear layer, Quantum Guard surface coating and a 15-year residential warranty. For customers who want the Amtico name and manufacturing quality at the lowest price point, First is the starting line. It is well suited to bedrooms, living rooms and lower-traffic spaces where the priority is design quality at a manageable cost.

Amtico Spacia — Mid-Range (Most Popular)

Spacia is the most widely specified Amtico range and sits in the mid-price bracket. It steps up to a 0.55mm wear layer, Quantum Guard Elite PUR coating and a 20-year warranty. The design range is significantly broader than First, and the durability makes it suitable for every room in the house including kitchens, hallways and bathrooms. For most homeowners, Spacia represents the best balance of specification, design choice and price.

Amtico Form — Upper Mid-Range

Form occupies the space between Spacia and Signature. A 0.7mm wear layer, 30-year residential warranty and integrated antimicrobial protection make it a strong choice for high-traffic family homes and light commercial applications. The price premium over Spacia reflects the substantially thicker wear layer and longer warranty — if longevity and heavy-use performance are priorities, Form offers a meaningful step up without reaching Signature pricing.

Amtico Signature — Premium

Signature is the flagship Amtico collection and the most expensive. A 1.0mm wear layer — double that of Spacia — Quantum Guard Elite and a lifetime residential warranty when professionally installed. Signature also opens up Amtico’s bespoke layout design service, with custom combinations of planks, tiles, borders and inlays. The price reflects both the specification and the design flexibility. For premium residential projects or statement floors, Signature is the top of the UK residential LVT market.

Amtico Click Smart — Click Format

Click Smart uses a rigid core SPC construction with a click-lock system and built-in acoustic underlay. It sits at a similar price point to Spacia, with a 0.55mm wear layer and 20-year warranty. The format is different — this is a floating floor rather than a glue-down installation — which can reduce fitting costs and make it well suited to renovations where subfloor preparation needs to be kept to a minimum.

Amtico Access — Commercial

Access is Amtico’s commercial loose-lay collection, priced for office, retail and hospitality projects. It is a different product category from the residential ranges and is typically quoted on a project basis for larger commercial spaces.

What Else Affects the Price?

Beyond the range itself, several factors influence your final Amtico quote:

  • Project size: Larger projects benefit from better per-square-metre pricing. A single room will cost more per sqm than a whole-house installation.
  • Layout complexity: Standard plank or tile layouts are more straightforward to install than herringbone, parquet or bespoke Signature designs. Complex layouts increase both material requirements (more cutting waste) and fitting time.
  • Supply only vs supply and fit: If you only need the flooring supplied and have your own approved fitter, the quote covers materials only. Supply and fit includes professional installation, subfloor preparation and all finishing — and validates the Amtico manufacturer warranty.
  • Subfloor condition: Amtico glue-down ranges require a smooth, level, dry subfloor. If your existing subfloor needs preparation work (levelling compound, damp-proof membrane, removal of existing floor covering), this adds to the overall project cost. Click Smart is more forgiving of minor subfloor imperfections.
  • Underfloor heating: All Amtico ranges are compatible with underfloor heating (subject to a 27°C surface temperature limit), but specific installation requirements for heated subfloors can add slightly to fitting costs.

How Does Amtico Compare to Other Brands on Price?

Amtico sits at the premium end of the UK LVT market. To give a sense of where it lands relative to other brands we stock:

  • Amtico vs Karndean: Very similar price bracket at comparable specification levels. Amtico First and Karndean Knight Tile are comparable; Amtico Spacia and Karndean Van Gogh occupy similar territory. The main price difference appears at the top — Amtico Signature has no direct Karndean equivalent in terms of wear layer and warranty. For a detailed comparison, see our Amtico vs Karndean guide.
  • Amtico vs Nordikka: Nordikka is more accessibly priced at equivalent specification levels. For customers who want a high-quality LVT with transparent online pricing and a direct checkout experience, Nordikka is worth considering alongside Amtico. See our Nordikka vs Amtico vs Karndean comparison.
  • Amtico vs budget LVT: Significantly more expensive than entry-level or budget LVT brands. The difference is justified by manufacturing quality (Amtico is made in the UK), the Quantum Guard surface coating, longer warranties and the approved retailer installation network. Cheap LVT is a different product category — if your budget is tight, our wider LVT flooring collection includes options at every price point.

Is Amtico Worth the Price?

This depends on what you are comparing it to and what matters to you. If you are choosing between Amtico and a budget LVT, the price gap is significant — but so is the gap in manufacturing quality, surface finish, durability and long-term warranty cover. Amtico floors are genuinely designed to last decades when properly installed, and the warranty structure (up to lifetime on Signature) reflects this.

If you are choosing between Amtico and Karndean at equivalent specification levels, the price difference is minimal and the decision usually comes down to design preference rather than value. If you are weighing Amtico against a more accessibly priced brand like Nordikka at the 0.55mm specification level, the practical performance difference for most homes is small — the premium you pay for Amtico reflects the brand positioning, wider design range and bespoke capabilities rather than a dramatically different floor underfoot.

The honest answer: Amtico is worth the price if you value design breadth, UK manufacturing, long warranties and the approved retailer network. If your priority is getting a well-specified LVT at the best possible price, there are strong alternatives in our range that perform comparably for less.

How to Get the Best Amtico Price

A few practical tips for getting the most competitive quote:

  • Get multiple quotes: Request prices from more than one Amtico approved retailer, then share the best quote with us. We will do our best to beat it.
  • Know your measurements: An accurate room measurement (length × width in metres) allows us to quote precisely rather than estimating. This avoids over-ordering and keeps waste to a minimum.
  • Consider the range carefully: Not every room needs Signature specification. A smart approach is to use a higher-spec range in heavy-traffic areas (hallway, kitchen) and a more affordable range in bedrooms or guest rooms. We can quote mixed-range projects.
  • Ask about supply only: If you have access to a competent fitter who can work under an approved retailer’s guidance, supply-only pricing removes the fitting element from the quote. Confirm with us that the warranty will still be valid under this arrangement.
