Every Amtico glue-down range is also compatible with Amtico feature stripping, the thin decorative inlay that adds contrast, defines plank shapes or creates a grout effect between planks and tiles. Stripping is priced separately and quoted alongside the floor itself.
Amtico Click Format Prices 2026 (Rigid Core)
Amtico Click Smart is a rigid-core SPC click format that installs as a floating floor over most existing subfloors, without the latex smoothing compound preparation required for glue-down. Click Smart is quicker to fit and more forgiving of minor subfloor imperfections, making it a strong choice for renovation projects. The prices below are supply only; contact us for a fitted quote on Amtico Click Smart — we install click-format flooring across Altrincham and the wider Cheshire region.
| Range | Format | Thickness | Wear Layer | RRP m² |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amtico Click Smart | Plank/Tile | 6.0mm | 0.55mm | £52.99 |
| Amtico Click Smart | Parquet/Herringbone | 6.0mm | 0.55mm | £56.99 |
Why We Publish Amtico Prices When Most Retailers Don’t
Most Amtico Approved Retail Partners don’t publish prices online. The convention is to quote project-by-project, so customers shopping for Amtico often have to chase multiple retailers just to get a rough idea of cost. We take a different view. The prices above are the manufacturer’s recommended retail price (RRP) for the flooring itself, alongside our standard fitted price on a normal installation specification. They are the same prices we publish openly on the wall of our Altrincham Smart Showroom — customers visiting at any hour of day or night can read the full price board before contacting us.
This transparency is possible because we are an Amtico Approved Retail Partner with our own in-house fitters. There is no third-party fitter mark-up, no hidden commission and no pressure to commit before you understand what your project will cost.
How Amtico Ranges Compare on Price
Amtico produces four main residential glue-down collections plus the Click Smart rigid-core range. The price increases as you move up through the specification tiers — primarily driven by wear layer thickness, which determines how long the floor will last in heavy-traffic use.
Amtico First — Entry Level (Glue-Down)
Amtico First is the most affordable Amtico glue-down range at £31.00/m² RRP for plank/tile (£57 fitted) and £35.00/m² RRP for parquet/herringbone (£73 fitted). A 0.3mm wear layer and 2.0mm thickness make First a strong choice for whole-home projects where you want a genuine Amtico floor at the lowest accessible price — bedrooms, lounges and lower-traffic rooms in particular.
Amtico Spacia — Mid-Range (Glue-Down)
Spacia is Amtico’s most widely specified collection and the most popular range at our Altrincham showroom. At £45.99/m² RRP for plank/tile (£85 fitted) and £47.99/m² for parquet/herringbone (£100 fitted), Spacia steps up to a 0.55mm wear layer — nearly double First’s — suitable for kitchens, hallways and family living rooms. For most homeowners, Spacia represents the best balance of specification, design and price in the Amtico catalogue.
Amtico Form — Premium (Glue-Down 0.7mm)
Form sits at the premium end of the Amtico glue-down range at £64.99/m² RRP for plank/tile (£120 fitted), rising to £66.99/m² for parquet, herringbone or basketweave (£140–£150 fitted). A 0.7mm wear layer and Amtico’s distinctive Form design language make this range the choice for design-led projects where the floor needs to be the centrepiece of the room.
Amtico Signature — Flagship (Glue-Down 1.0mm)
Signature is Amtico’s flagship residential collection and the most expensive: £75.99/m² RRP for plank/tile (£140 fitted), rising to £77.99/m² for parquet/herringbone (£163 fitted) and basketweave (£173 fitted). A 1.0mm wear layer — the thickest in the Amtico range — is paired with a lifetime residential warranty when supplied and fitted by an Amtico Approved Retail Partner. Signature is the default choice for statement floors where the finish needs to justify a significant investment.
Amtico Click Smart — Rigid Core Click
Click Smart takes the Amtico design language and delivers it in a 6.0mm rigid-core click format with a 0.55mm wear layer. Plank/tile RRP is £52.99/m², parquet/herringbone £56.99/m². Click Smart is the strongest choice for renovation projects where the existing subfloor isn’t ideal for glue-down installation — the click-lock floating floor is more forgiving and quicker to fit.
What Else Affects the Final Amtico Price?
Beyond the range itself, several factors influence your final Amtico quote:
- Project size: Larger projects benefit from better per-square-metre pricing. A single room often costs more per m² than a whole-house installation because fixed-cost elements (delivery, set-up time, subfloor inspection) are spread across fewer square metres.
- Laying pattern complexity: Standard plank or tile layouts are more straightforward to install than parquet, herringbone or basketweave. Complex patterns increase both material requirements (more cutting waste) and fitting time — which is why supply & fit prices in the table above step up sharply for the more intricate formats.
- Feature stripping: Amtico feature stripping — the decorative inlays between planks and tiles — is priced separately. See our Amtico Stripping calculator for sizes, colours and quantity calculations.
- Glue-down vs Click Smart: Glue-down ranges (First, Spacia, Form, Signature) require more intensive subfloor preparation and professional adhesive application. Click Smart is quicker to fit, which can reduce total project cost even where the product price is similar.
- Supply only vs supply & fit: If you only need the flooring supplied and have your own approved Amtico fitter, the quote covers materials at RRP only. Supply & fit includes professional installation, subfloor preparation and finishing — and validates the Amtico manufacturer warranty when installed by an Approved Retail Partner.
- Subfloor condition: Amtico glue-down ranges require a smooth, level, dry subfloor. If your existing subfloor needs additional preparation work beyond the standard 3mm latex smoothing compound (extensive levelling, damp-proof membrane, removal of an existing floor covering), this is quoted separately after a home survey.
- Underfloor heating: All Amtico ranges are compatible with underfloor heating subject to a 27°C surface temperature limit, but specific installation requirements for heated subfloors can add slightly to fitting costs.
How Does Amtico Compare to Other Brands on Price?
Amtico sits at the premium end of the UK LVT market alongside Karndean. Here is where Amtico lands relative to the other LVT brands we stock and fit, using our published supply & fit prices as a like-for-like benchmark.
- Amtico vs Karndean: Very similar price bracket at comparable specification levels. Amtico First (£57/m² fitted) sits just below Karndean Knight Tile (£59/m²). Spacia (£85) is virtually matched with Van Gogh (£83). Form (£120) competes with Karndean Art Select (£115) on plank/tile at 0.7mm wear layer. The main differentiation is at the top — Amtico Signature’s 1.0mm wear layer and lifetime residential warranty has no direct Karndean equivalent. See our Amtico vs Karndean guide for a full range-by-range comparison.
- Amtico vs Invictus: Invictus is more accessibly priced at equivalent specification levels. Invictus Maximus at £68/m² fitted matches Amtico Spacia on wear layer (0.55mm) but sits £17/m² below it. For customers who want a 0.55mm specification at the best fitted price, Invictus is worth considering alongside Amtico.
- Amtico vs Nordikka: Nordikka is more accessibly priced at equivalent specification levels, with transparent online pricing and direct checkout. For customers who want quality LVT at a lower price point, Nordikka is a strong alternative. See our Nordikka vs Amtico vs Karndean comparison.
- Amtico vs budget LVT: Significantly more expensive than entry-level or budget LVT. The difference is justified by manufacturing quality (Amtico is made in Coventry, UK), design depth, warranty length and the Amtico Approved Retail Partner installation network. If your budget is tight, our wider LVT flooring collection includes options at every price point — see the full LVT supply & fit pricing guide for the complete cross-brand breakdown.
Is Amtico Worth the Price?
This depends on what you are comparing it to and what matters to you. If you are choosing between Amtico and a budget LVT, the price gap is significant — but so is the gap in design quality, surface realism, durability and long-term warranty cover. Amtico floors are designed to last decades when properly installed, and the warranty structure (rising to a lifetime guarantee on Signature) reflects this.
If you are choosing between Amtico and Karndean at equivalent specification levels, the price difference is minimal and the decision usually comes down to design preference, range structure and which brand’s aesthetic suits your home. If you are weighing Amtico against a more accessibly priced brand like Invictus or Nordikka at the 0.55mm specification level, the practical performance difference for most homes is small — the premium you pay for Amtico reflects the broader design library, the heritage of the brand, the UK manufacturing base, and the Approved Retail Partner warranty network.
The honest answer: Amtico is worth the price if you value design-led flooring, a comprehensive range that covers every format and specification level up to a 1.0mm wear layer with lifetime warranty, and the peace of mind that comes with an Approved Retail Partner installation network. If your priority is getting a well-specified LVT at the best possible price, there are strong alternatives at every tier of our range.
How to Get the Best Amtico Price
A few practical tips for getting the most competitive quote:
- Get multiple quotes: Request prices from more than one Amtico Approved Retail Partner, then share the best quote with us. We will do our best to beat it.
- Know your measurements: An accurate room measurement (length x width in metres) lets us quote precisely rather than estimating. This avoids over-ordering and keeps wastage to a minimum.
- Consider the range carefully: Not every room needs Signature specification. A smart approach is to use a higher-spec range in heavy-traffic areas (hallway, kitchen) and a more affordable range in bedrooms or guest rooms. We can quote mixed-range projects — Spacia in the kitchen, First in the bedrooms, for example.
- Glue-down vs Click Smart: If subfloor preparation is a concern, Click Smart can reduce total project cost even though the product price is similar. Ask us which format makes most sense for your situation.
- Plain plank vs parquet: Parquet, herringbone and basketweave patterns add significantly to the fitted cost because of the additional fitting time and material waste. If you love the look but the price stretches your budget, consider using the pattern in one feature room (entrance hall, dining area) and standard plank in the rest of the house.
- Ask about supply only: If you have access to a competent fitter who can work under an Approved Retail Partner’s guidance, supply-only pricing removes the fitting element from the quote. Confirm with us that the warranty will still be valid under this arrangement.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Amtico flooring cost per square metre in 2026?
Amtico prices range from £31.00/m² RRP for Amtico First (the cheapest range) up to £77.99/m² RRP for Signature in parquet/herringbone or basketweave format (the most expensive). Fitted prices range from £57/m² for First plank/tile up to £173/m² for Signature basketweave. Fitted prices include 3mm latex subfloor preparation and professional installation by an Approved Retail Partner’s own fitters.
What is the cheapest Amtico range?
Amtico First at £31.00/m² RRP and £57/m² fitted is the cheapest Amtico range. A 2.0mm thickness and 0.3mm wear layer make First the entry point to the Amtico catalogue. The next step up is Amtico Spacia at £45.99/m² RRP (£85 fitted), with a thicker 0.55mm wear layer suitable for higher-traffic rooms.
What is the most expensive Amtico range?
Amtico Signature is the flagship and most expensive collection. RRP starts at £75.99/m² for plank/tile and rises to £77.99/m² for parquet/herringbone and basketweave, with a 1.0mm wear layer — the thickest in the Amtico range — and a lifetime residential warranty when supplied and fitted by an Approved Retail Partner. Fitted prices range from £140/m² for plank/tile up to £173/m² for basketweave.
Why is Amtico Signature more expensive than Form?
Signature uses a 1.0mm wear layer compared to Form’s 0.7mm — the thicker top layer means longer durability under heavy traffic and a longer manufacturer warranty (lifetime residential on Signature versus 30 years on Form). Signature also offers Amtico’s widest design library including the Designers’ Choice pattern collection. The price uplift over Form on plank/tile is £11/m² RRP and £20/m² fitted.
How does Amtico compare to Karndean on price?
Amtico and Karndean are priced very similarly at comparable specification levels. Amtico First (£57/m² fitted) sits slightly below Karndean Knight Tile (£59/m²), Spacia (£85) is virtually matched with Van Gogh (£83), and Amtico Form (£120 fitted plank/tile) competes with Karndean Art Select (£115). The main differentiation is at the top — Amtico Signature’s 1.0mm wear layer has no direct Karndean equivalent. See our Amtico vs Karndean guide for a deeper comparison.
How much does it cost to have Amtico fitted compared to supply only?
Supply & fit prices are roughly £26–£95/m² higher than RRP supply-only prices, depending on the range and laying pattern. For example, Amtico First plank/tile is £31.00/m² RRP supply only versus £57/m² supply & fit. The fitted price includes the flooring, 3mm latex smoothing compound subfloor preparation, all adhesives and trims, professional installation by our own fitters and a post-installation check.
Can I get a price match on Amtico?
Yes. If you have an Amtico quote from another Approved Retail Partner, share it with us and we will do our best to beat it. As an Amtico Approved Retail Partner with our own in-house fitting team, we are able to compete strongly on both supply only and supply & fit pricing.
When were these Amtico prices last reviewed?
May 2026. We review this pricing guide at least annually to keep it aligned with Amtico’s current manufacturer RRP and our supply & fit pricing. Prices may vary marginally for projects requiring additional subfloor preparation, removal of an existing floor or specialist trims.
