What makes us different from other Amtico retailers in the area is how you visit. Our Altrincham showroom operates as a 24/7 Smart Showroom — there are no set opening hours and no appointment needed. You scan the QR code on the front of the showroom or request a door code online, receive your code instantly, and let yourself in whenever suits you. Early morning, late evening, weekends — you choose.

Why See Amtico in Person?

Amtico flooring is a design-led product, and the difference between browsing online and seeing it at full scale in a showroom setting is significant. Colours shift under different lighting, surface textures are only properly judged by touch, and the sense of scale you get from a full-size display cannot be replicated by a small sample.

At our Altrincham showroom you can compare all six Amtico collections side by side:

Amtico First — 0.3mm wear layer, 15-year warranty, the entry point to the Amtico range

Amtico Spacia — 0.55mm wear layer, 20-year warranty, the most popular Amtico collection

Amtico Form — 0.7mm wear layer, 30-year warranty, antimicrobial protection

Amtico Signature — 1.0mm wear layer, lifetime residential warranty, bespoke layouts and the full Designers’ Choice pattern library

Amtico Click Smart — rigid core SPC click, 0.55mm wear layer, ideal for renovations

Amtico Access — commercial loose-lay collection for offices and retail spaces

Alongside the product ranges, the showroom has sample boards of every pattern in the Amtico laying patterns library — from simple herringbone through to the 45+ Designers’ Choice patterns only available in Signature. Castel Weave, Versailles Parquet, Halcyon Pleat and the rest are all viewable at full scale, so you can see how the pattern reads in a real space before committing. The full Amtico feature stripping sample set is also on display, so you can see how a 3mm grout-effect strip or a 19mm contrast band changes the look of any pattern.

You can also see how Amtico compares against other premium LVT brands we stock, including Karndean, Invictus and Nordikka. If you are weighing up Amtico against Karndean specifically, our Amtico vs Karndean comparison guide breaks down the differences range by range.

Amtico Stripping at Our Altrincham Showroom

Stripping is one of the design features that makes Amtico distinctive. Thin decorative inlays — 2mm thick, 914mm long, available in five widths from 3mm to 19mm and sixteen colours — are bonded between planks and tiles to create a grout effect, define plank or tile shapes, or add a deliberate contrast band. All five widths and every colour in the range are on display at our Altrincham showroom, ready to be laid against any Amtico plank or tile you are considering so you can judge the effect at full scale before committing.

Our Amtico Stripping page covers every available size and colour, explains which Amtico collections can be installed with stripping (every glue-down collection — Signature, Form, Spacia, First and Access), and includes a full quantity calculator so you can work out how many boxes of stripping your project needs based on your room size and plank or tile dimensions.

The 24/7 Smart Showroom

Most flooring showrooms operate standard weekday hours — which does not suit everyone, particularly if you work during the day or have family commitments. Our Altrincham showroom removes that problem entirely. The 24/7 Smart Showroom means you can visit at 7am before work, 9pm after the children are in bed, or any time at the weekend. There is no pressure, no salesperson following you around, and no rush. You walk the showroom at your own pace, compare products and take photos to discuss with your partner or your fitter.

Serving Altrincham, Hale, Bowdon and Beyond

Our showroom at 82 Stamford New Road is centrally located in Altrincham and easily accessible from across South Manchester and Cheshire. We regularly serve customers from Hale, Bowdon, Timperley, Sale, Knutsford, Wilmslow, Didsbury, Chorlton and Manchester city centre.

For supply and fit projects in the Altrincham area, our fitting teams handle everything from subfloor preparation to final installation — all carried out to the standards required to validate Amtico’s manufacturer warranties. For customers further afield, we supply Amtico nationwide and can provide installation guidance to help ensure your warranty remains valid.

Why Buy Amtico from an Approved Retailer?

Amtico’s manufacturer warranties are conditional on professional installation by an Amtico Approved Retail Partner. This is the mechanism through which the warranty is validated — it is not optional. An approved retailer ensures the correct adhesives, subfloor preparation and installation techniques are used. Without this, the warranty may be voided regardless of the product’s quality. For a full explanation, see our guide: why buy Amtico from an approved retailer?

At Grosvenor Flooring, we have been fitting and supplying Amtico across all collections for many years. Our approved status means every floor we supply and install carries the full Amtico manufacturer warranty.

Request a Price

Get in touch via our enquiry form, WhatsApp or by phone. When you make contact, it helps to have your room measurements, your preferred Amtico range and any designs you have shortlisted. If you have a quote from another retailer, let us know — we will do our best to beat it.
