Family Homes, Fitted Properly
Much of Timperley is family housing, which means kitchens that see heavy use, hallways full of school bags and extensions with underfloor heating. Blake looks at all of that when he visits. He measures each room, checks the subfloor and recommends floors that will stand up to real life. His background in accountancy at Baker Tilly means the quote is laid out clearly.
A regular team of fitters we know and trust handles the installation. We fit single rooms as well as whole ground floors. Our supply and fit service page has more detail.
Flooring for Timperley Homes
Amtico Flooring in Timperley
As an Amtico Retail Partner we supply Signature, Spacia, Form, First, Click Smart and Access. Spacia is a popular choice for Timperley kitchen-diners, giving a realistic oak look across a big area. Signature adds patterns and feature stripping.
See the Amtico floor fitter page and our guide to where to buy Amtico in Altrincham.
Karndean Flooring in Timperley
All six Karndean ranges we sell are on display a few minutes away: Art Select, Van Gogh, Van Gogh Rigid Core, Knight Tile, Knight Tile Rigid Core and Palio Essenza. Knight Tile is a sensible pick for busy family homes on a budget.
Compare the two big brands in Amtico vs Karndean. The Karndean floor fitter page and where to buy Karndean in Altrincham cover the rest.
Invictus, Polyflor, Project Floors & GF
Invictus offers four premium ranges at a sharper price. Read where to buy Invictus in Altrincham and our Invictus floor fitter page. Polyflor is another hard-wearing option, explained in where to buy Polyflor in Altrincham. Project Floors is built for heavy traffic.
For families watching the budget, our own GF range delivers the big-brand look for less. Textures and Elements add more wood-effect plank and herringbone designs. Free samples are available on GF, Textures and Elements. See the LVT floor fitter page for fitting.
Engineered Wood in Timperley
Real oak works beautifully in Timperley’s period houses and over underfloor heating in modern extensions. Our own GF engineered wood comes in plank, herringbone, chevron and Versailles. Every board is in the Wood Room.
If a friend has recommended V4, Ted Todd or Woodpecker, look at GF before you decide. Our comparisons are in looking for a Ted Todd alternative?, looking for a Woodpecker alternative? and the engineered wood floor fitter page.

Start Floor FinderFlooring in Timperley – Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best floor for a knocked-through kitchen-diner?
A single LVT floor running throughout usually looks best and copes with spills. Amtico Spacia, Karndean Knight Tile and GF are all popular.
Can LVT go down over existing floor tiles?
Click formats can often go over sound tiles. Glue-down floors need a smoothed base. Blake will check yours.
Is your showroom near Timperley?
Yes. It is a few minutes away in Altrincham and a couple of stops on the Metrolink.
Do you sell Polyflor?
Yes. Our Polyflor guide explains the ranges and how they compare with the other brands we sell.
Will my floor work with underfloor heating?
Extensions with wet underfloor heating are common in Timperley. Most LVT and engineered boards are compatible and Blake confirms the details for your system.
Who visits to measure?
Blake Williams comes out to every Timperley job before we quote.
Are samples free?
GF, Textures and Elements samples cost nothing. Everything else is on the showroom floor a few minutes away.
Can you fit just one room?
Yes. There is no minimum job size.
