Where to Buy Amtico Flooring in Wilmslow – Grosvenor Flooring

This page explains what we carry, how Amtico pricing works (Amtico is a request-a-price brand — prices aren’t published online), how to see the product at full scale before you commit, and how the 15-minute trip to Altrincham compares to visiting the scattered single-range Amtico stockists closer to Wilmslow. For the sitewide Amtico context, see our where to buy Amtico in Altrincham guide.

Why Wilmslow Customers Come to Grosvenor for Amtico

Amtico is sold through an approved-retailer network and not every retailer stocks the full range. The showrooms inside Wilmslow itself carry fragments — a Signature display here, a Spacia end-cap there — but the full current range under one roof, with enough floorspace to see each collection laid in full planks rather than A4 swatches, is something you have to travel for. We’re the closest showroom to Wilmslow that does that.

Our Altrincham showroom is a 24/7 Smart Showroom. Request a door code through our website, receive it by email, and visit any hour of any day — evenings after work, Sunday afternoons, bank holidays, whenever your diary actually clears. For Wilmslow professionals juggling work, school and weekend commitments, the 24/7 access is often the deciding factor over a 9-to-5 showroom closer to home. Request your door code here.

Once you’re in the showroom, you can compare Amtico side-by-side with the other premium LVT brands we stock — Karndean, Invictus, Project Floors, Brampton Chase — and see how Amtico’s realism, colour range and plank sizes compare in a single visit. That’s the comparison that matters for a Wilmslow kitchen, open-plan living space or whole-house refit, and it’s the comparison you cannot do by browsing photographs online.

The Full Amtico Range — What We Stock

Every Amtico sub-range we supply is on display, with enough material to show colour families, plank or tile formats, and the different wear layers that separate the ranges. Here’s the short form of what each range does best:

Amtico Signature — the flagship. Glue-down, 1.0mm wear layer, the widest colour and effect library, and the range most Wilmslow designers and architects specify for premium residential and light commercial projects.

Amtico Spacia — the residential mid-premium glue-down. 0.3mm wear layer, slightly lighter specification than Signature at a more accessible price. Popular for family homes and busy kitchens.

Amtico Form — a curated wood-effect glue-down range with 0.7mm wear layer. Made for buyers who want Amtico realism but a tighter, more specified set of wood looks rather than Signature’s larger library.

Amtico Access — loose-lay commercial-spec LVT. Designed for renovations where lifting the existing floor is impractical.

Amtico Click Smart — the rigid-core click system. DIY-friendly installation, suitable for retrofits over existing floors, and the Amtico range most often specified by homeowners managing their own project.

Amtico First — the entry-spec Amtico range at 2.0mm thickness. Where budget is the key constraint but Amtico brand confidence is non-negotiable.

If you’re still deciding between ranges, read our Amtico flooring designs, colours and patterns guide, Amtico flooring prices cost guide, or our full Amtico review. For the Amtico-versus-Karndean decision most Wilmslow buyers end up making, see Amtico vs Karndean — which luxury vinyl flooring brand should you choose?.

Amtico Pricing — How We Quote

Amtico prices aren’t published online by any retailer, us included. It’s an approved-retailer model where price is set against the project — range, square metres, fitting requirement, and your purchase timeline all feed the quote. For Wilmslow customers, we quote on a per-project basis and respond the same working day.

When you get in touch, share: the Amtico range you’re considering (or ask us to recommend based on your room), your approximate square metres, any competing quotes you already hold, and your timeline for installation. We come back with a tailored price — and if you already have a quote from another approved retailer, we’ll do our best to beat it. Why buy from an approved Amtico retailer explains what the warranty and specification benefits look like.

Seeing Amtico in Person — the Altrincham Trip from Wilmslow

The drive from Wilmslow to our Altrincham showroom is 15 minutes via the A538 — faster on a weekday mid-morning or Sunday, and the 24/7 Smart Showroom means you don’t need to fit it around the school run or work hours. Park on Stamford New Road or in the nearby town-centre car parks, walk in using your door code, and take as long as you want. There’s no appointment pressure and no salesperson hovering.

Inside the showroom, you’ll see every Amtico sub-range on full display, alongside the other premium brands we stock. The Wood Room sits adjacent to the LVT floor, so if you’re weighing Amtico against engineered wood for a kitchen or hallway, you can compare both materials in the same visit. We stock engineered wood alongside Amtico because in real projects those are usually the two options a Wilmslow buyer is genuinely choosing between.

Installation — Supply and Fit for Wilmslow Customers

Wilmslow, Handforth, Styal, Lindow, Mobberley, Fulshaw Park and the wider SK9 catchment are inside our supply-and-fit service area. That means we handle the whole project — sample selection, final colour sign-off, ordering, delivery scheduling, subfloor preparation, fitting, and sign-off — through our own team of experienced Amtico installers. Amtico installation is unforgiving if the subfloor isn’t right, and getting a fitter who knows the brand’s tolerances is genuinely worth the effort of a dedicated approved retailer rather than a generic trades-person.

If you prefer supply-only (you’ve got your own fitter), we supply Amtico UK-wide on a per-project quote — delivered to your Wilmslow address with the cut sheets, ancillaries and adhesives your installer will need. Either way, the starting point is the same: browse the range, share your project details, and we’ll come back with a price.

Getting in Touch

The fastest route is the enquiry form — one form, same-working-day response with a tailored quote. You can also WhatsApp or call directly. Or come to the Altrincham showroom first and decide from there — it’s open 24/7 and the door code takes a couple of minutes to request. For wider catchment information, see our Wilmslow showroom page. If you’re also weighing other options for the same project, our sibling Wilmslow guides cover Karndean, Ted Todd engineered wood and Woodpecker engineered wood.
