Where to Buy Karndean Flooring in Wilmslow
Reviewed by our team, led by Adam Williams, Managing Director
If you’re looking for Karndean flooring in Wilmslow, Grosvenor Flooring is the closest Karndean-approved retailer carrying the full range in person. Our Altrincham showroom sits 15 minutes from Wilmslow town centre on the A538, and we stock every current Karndean sub-range on display: Van Gogh, Van Gogh Rigid Core, Knight Tile, Knight Tile Rigid Core, Art Select and Palio Essenza. Wilmslow sits inside our core supply-and-fit catchment, so we can handle the full project or supply-only if you’ve already got a fitter.
In this article
This page explains what we stock, how Karndean pricing works (Karndean is an approved-retailer request-a-price brand — prices aren’t published online), how to see the full range at full scale before you commit, and how the short trip to Altrincham compares to fragmented single-range Karndean stockists in the local area. For the sitewide Karndean context, see our where to buy Karndean in Altrincham guide.
Why Wilmslow Customers Drive to Grosvenor for Karndean
Karndean, like Amtico, is sold through an approved-retailer network. Not every showroom that claims to stock Karndean carries the full range — you’ll find a Van Gogh plank here and a Knight Tile end-cap there, but the whole set in one place, with the rigid-core versions sitting alongside the glue-down originals, isn’t something Wilmslow town centre currently offers. We’re the closest showroom to Wilmslow that does.
Our showroom is a 24/7 Smart Showroom — you request a door code on our website, it’s emailed to you within minutes, and you can walk in any hour of any day. No appointment pressure, no salesperson hovering, no being rushed. For Wilmslow customers navigating work hours, family schedules and the back-and-forth of a big flooring decision, the 24/7 option is usually what tips the decision our way. Request your door code here.
Inside the showroom, you can compare Karndean directly against the other premium LVT brands we carry — Amtico, Invictus, Project Floors, Brampton Chase. Doing this side-by-side saves a second trip and, more usefully, clarifies the Karndean-vs-Amtico decision most Wilmslow buyers end up weighing. For that comparison specifically, see Amtico vs Karndean — which should you choose?.

The Full Karndean Range — What We Stock
Every current Karndean sub-range is on display, with enough material to show colour families, plank and tile formats, and the meaningful differences between glue-down and rigid-core construction. Short form:
For a deeper tour of the range and how each sub-range compares, see our Karndean flooring prices guide and Karndean herringbone flooring guide. If Karndean doesn’t feel like the right fit, our Karndean alternative guide walks through the most credible substitutes.
Karndean Pricing — How We Quote
Karndean is a request-a-price brand. Prices aren’t published online and no approved retailer — us or anyone else — is permitted to display fixed pricing. What we can do is quote fast and competitively against your project. When you get in touch, share: the Karndean range you’re considering (or ask us to recommend), approximate square metres, any competing quote you already hold, and your timeline. We come back with a tailored price the same working day.
If you’ve already got a quote from another Karndean retailer, share it. We’ll do our best to beat it. For background on the approved-retailer model itself — what you’re paying for, what the warranty does and doesn’t cover, what to check before committing — see Finding a Karndean approved retailer.
Seeing Karndean in Person — the Altrincham Trip from Wilmslow
The drive from Wilmslow to our Altrincham showroom is 15 minutes via the A538 — longer at weekday rush hour, faster on a Sunday. The 24/7 Smart Showroom access means you don’t have to fit the visit into office hours. Park on Stamford New Road or one of the town-centre car parks, walk in using your door code, and spend as long as you need. No appointments, no sales script, no pressure.
You’ll see every Karndean sub-range on full display, with enough floorspace to walk each range in daylight and compare plank sizes, colour tones and surface textures at full scale rather than swatch. Our Wood Room sits adjacent to the LVT floor — if you’re weighing Karndean’s wood-effect ranges (Van Gogh, Art Select) against real engineered wood for a kitchen or hallway, you can compare both in the same visit. That comparison genuinely changes some decisions.
Our address: 82 Stamford New Road, Altrincham, WA14 1BS. Request your Smart Showroom door code to book a visit.
Installation — Supply and Fit for Wilmslow Customers
Wilmslow, Handforth, Styal, Lindow, Mobberley, Fulshaw Park and the wider SK9 catchment are inside our supply-and-fit service area. We handle the full project — sample selection, final sign-off, ordering, delivery, subfloor preparation, fitting, and warranty registration — through our own team of Karndean-experienced installers. Karndean installation (especially the glue-down ranges) is unforgiving if the subfloor isn’t right, which is why it’s worth going with a dedicated approved retailer and fitter rather than a generic installer.
For Wilmslow professionals who fit specific guides at installation — straight tile installation and parquet herringbone installation — we publish the full approach we use. If you prefer supply-only (own fitter), we deliver Karndean UK-wide on a per-project quote.
Getting in Touch
The fastest route is the enquiry form — one form, same-working-day response with a tailored quote. You can also WhatsApp or call directly. Or come to the Altrincham showroom first and decide after — it’s open 24/7 and the door code takes a couple of minutes to request. For wider catchment info, see the Wilmslow showroom page. If you’re also weighing other options for the same project, our sibling Wilmslow guides cover Amtico, Ted Todd engineered wood and Woodpecker engineered wood.
