V4 Alpine is V4’s original engineered wood collection and the accessible entry into V4 quality. Eight rustic-grade European oak plank designs, all finished with V4’s own pure oils or UV-cured lacquers.

Alpine pricing: Golden Oak (EP103) is the entry-price design. The other seven share one price point: Vale Oak (VIT107), Brushed Oak (A103), Upland Oak (A104), Glade Oak (A110), Sunlit Oak (E125), Forest Oak (EP101) and Canyon Oak (EC103).

Alpine’s value proposition sits at the entry into premium engineered wood – comparable in specification to entry-tier Kahrs Life Authentic Plank and Karndean Van Gogh at 3.0mm gauge, but with V4’s 35-year domestic guarantee. V4 Driftwood Prices

V4 Driftwood is V4’s extra-long board collection with a weathered coastal aesthetic. Eight designs across three price bands:

Entry tier: Embered Oak (AL109), Lichen White Oak (AL108) and Deckboard Oak (A305). The accessible way into the Driftwood look.

Mid tier: Silver Sands (AL104), Fjordic Shore (AL103), Jetsam Oak (AL102) and Brushed Oak (AL101). The band most Driftwood buyers choose from.

Top tier: Pebble Grey Oak (AL107), the premium Driftwood option.

V4 Deco Prices: One Flat Price

V4 Deco is the design-led heart of the V4 range and the collection where V4 does something no other brand in the same tier consistently does: identical colours and finishes offered in matching plank AND herringbone formats. That lets you run the same wood in straight plank through your living room and a herringbone parquet through the hallway or entrance without any colour or grain mismatch.

All 19 Deco products, plank and herringbone, share one price:

Deco Plank (9 designs, prefix DC/A): Brushed Matt Oak (A111), Brushed Natural Oak (A112), Frozen Umber (DC101), Silver Haze (DC105), Smoked Oak (DC201), White Smoked Oak (DC203), Shore Drift Oak (DC204), Black Walnut (DC205), Tannery Brown (DC206).

V4 Tundra Prices

V4 Tundra is the format-rich part of the V4 catalogue and the most versatile collection we stock. Built on an unusual birch ply core construction that gives it additional dimensional stability and the best underfloor-heating performance in the V4 range. Three laying formats: plank, herringbone and chevron.

Tundra Plank: Smoked Oak (TK103), Seashell (TK104), Misty Grey (TK105) and Thermo Oak (TK106).

Tundra Herringbone: Smoked Oak (TH108), Seashell (TH109), Misty Grey (TH110) and Thermo Oak (TH111). The same four colours as the plank, at the same price.

Tundra Chevron: Seashell (CV104), Misty Grey (CV105) and Thermo Oak (CV106) share one price; Smoked Oak Chevron (CV103) costs a little more. The chevron is the most expensive V4 format.

Chevron carries the price premium because of the 45-degree cut angle, tighter alignment tolerances and the more complex production run. V4 Heritage Prices

Heritage is a classic plank collection named after English woodlands: Kingswood (HG101), Bisham (HG102), Rockingham (HG103), Enbourne (HG104), Brampton (HG106), Delamere (HG107), Toridan (HG111) and Lomond (HG112). Every board is 14mm with a 3mm oak top and 190 x 1900mm. It can be floated or glued. Heritage sits alongside Alpine at the accessible end of the V4 range.

V4 Urban Nature Prices

Urban Nature is V4’s newest collection: hand-scraped, distressed and UV-oiled oak in four colours (Sandstone, Amberwood, Granite Smoke and Shadow Grey). The planks are 15mm with a 4mm oak top at 220 x 2200mm. The matching herringbone is 125 x 600mm. Plank and herringbone are priced in line with Deco and Tundra.

Supply-Only vs Supply-and-Fit Pricing

All the prices above are supply-only, delivered free to UK mainland from V4’s Surrey warehouse. If you’re outside Altrincham, Manchester or Cheshire, most customers arrange fitting locally with a competent engineered wood installer.

For customers within Grosvenor’s supply-and-fit area, fitted-project pricing is quoted against the specific project rather than at a published per-m2 rate. Format is the biggest driver: straight plank is the cheapest per-m2 to fit, herringbone takes materially longer per square metre because of pattern setting-out and boundary cutting. Chevron takes longer again because of the 45-degree cuts. Room shape, subfloor condition and installation method (dryback vs click) also move the total. What Affects V4 Fitted Price

Subfloor preparation. V4 dryback and glued installations demand a flat, dry, well-prepared subfloor. Marginal subfloors often need self-levelling compound before fitting, priced as a separate line item on the quote based on the subfloor’s condition. Skipping subfloor prep is the single most common cause of avoidable problems in engineered wood installations.

Adhesive choice. V4-approved adhesive systems add to the fitted price versus click installation. Click-format products (Driftwood 5Gc, Tundra floating installations) don’t need adhesive but do need appropriate underlay.

Format choice. As above – herringbone and chevron add fitting premium over straight plank. Large-block herringbone (Urban Nature 125 x 600mm) can add to the fitting time because of the block weight and handling.

Underfloor heating. All V4 engineered wood ranges are UFH-compatible subject to V4’s 27 degrees C surface temperature limit. UFH-forgiving installations (Tundra’s birch ply core is V4’s most UFH-friendly product) don’t necessarily cost more to fit but they do need careful commissioning. V4 sits at the premium end of engineered wood pricing, but not at the very top. Alpine and Driftwood are genuinely accessible for a British premium brand. Tundra Chevron is the upper end. Kahrs, Woodpecker and Ted Todd sit in similar premium territory.

Do V4 prices include VAT?

Yes. Our V4 quotes include VAT. Delivery anywhere in the UK is free.

Does V4 flooring come with underlay?

V4 wood floors don’t include underlay in the supply price. Appropriate underlay for engineered wood on the specific installation method (floating vs bonded, over UFH or without) needs to be specified separately. Grosvenor Flooring can advise on the correct underlay when you order.

How much does V4 herringbone cost fitted?

Fitted V4 herringbone and chevron pricing is quoted per project because the fitted total depends materially on room shape, subfloor condition and the specific format. Is V4 a British brand?

Yes. V4 is a British company based in Surrey. Its design centre and warehouse are there too. Orders are delivered direct from V4.

What warranty comes with V4 flooring?

All V4 residential engineered wood carries V4’s 35-year domestic guarantee when installed correctly. The guarantee covers manufacturing defects and wear under normal residential conditions. Commercial installations have separate warranty terms.

Can I buy V4 flooring directly online or do I need to visit a showroom?
