Where to Buy LVT Flooring on the Wirral

Good, Better, Best: Finding Your Budget
LVT covers a wide price range. It helps to think of it in three bands.
Sharpest prices. Our own GF range, plus Textures and Elements. GF is matched design by design to the big brands. Textures and Elements are wood-effect ranges in plank and herringbone. Elements offers twelve wood shades.
Premium for less. Invictus is a Belgian-engineered LVT that undercuts the household names at the same wear layer. Alongside it sits Project Floors, a glue-down range with plank, herringbone and chevron collections built for heavy use.

Try Samples at Home First
Wirral homes vary a lot in light. A north-facing Victorian hall in Oxton looks very different from a bright extension facing the Dee in Heswall. The safest way to choose a colour is to see it in the room itself.
That is easy with GF, Textures and Elements, because samples of all three are free. Order your samples, live with them for a few days and have a shortlist ready for Blake’s visit.
Inside the GF Range
GF comes in three collections. GF Glue-Down is the traditional bonded floor. Our GF glue-down review has more. It has a 0.55mm wear layer and a 25-year warranty.
Rentals, Holiday Lets and Family Homes
Seaside towns such as Hoylake and West Kirby have plenty of holiday lets and rental flats. For those, Project Floors or a GF click floor makes a lot of sense: tough, waterproof and easy to clean between guests. In a family home, a glue-down floor with a 0.55mm wear layer is usually the right balance of durability and cost. Click or Glue-Down Upstairs?
Older Wirral houses often have timber floors upstairs that are not perfectly level. A click floor such as GF SPC is more forgiving there and fits quickly. Downstairs, where underfloor heating and heavy use are more common, glue-down usually wins. Our glue-down vs click guide explains why.
Looking for an LVT Fitter on the Wirral?
Blake prices the preparation at his visit. That might mean overlaying boards with ply, levelling a concrete floor or simply removing an old covering. Each band above has its own price level, but the house matters just as much. Preparation on an older property, glue-down versus click, patterns, thresholds and removal of the old floor all go into the final figure. Blake’s quote shows each one separately. Should I choose click or glue-down LVT?
Click is quicker and more forgiving of older floors, which suits upstairs rooms. Glue-down is flatter, quieter and better over underfloor heating.
Who fits LVT on the Wirral?
We do. Blake surveys the job and a regular team of fitters we know and trust carries out the fitting. One of them lives on the peninsula.
Is LVT warm underfoot?
Yes, it feels noticeably warmer than ceramic tiles. It also works with underfloor heating within each manufacturer’s temperature limit.
Do I need to visit the showroom?
No. Free samples and Blake’s home visit are enough for most people. The showroom is there if you would like to see whole floors laid out.
What will my Wirral LVT quote include?
The flooring, adhesive or underlay, any subfloor preparation, fitting, thresholds and removal of your old floor if needed. Each is listed separately.
