Flooring in Holmes Chapel – Amtico, Karndean, Invictus & Engineered Wood

4.8 / 5 · from 145+ Google reviews

Holmes Chapel doubled in size from the 1960s onwards, so alongside the older cottages near St Luke’s Church you will find street after street of family homes from that era, plus newer developments on the edges. Grosvenor Flooring supplies and fits floors across the village and the CW4 villages around it, from Goostrey to Cranage.

We stock Amtico and Karndean as a Retail Partner for each. Invictus, Project Floors, our own GF range and engineered wood are also available. All surveys are carried out by Blake Williams, our Operations Director.

Updating a Holmes Chapel Home

Many houses here are now on their second or third owners, which usually means carpets coming up, walls coming down and a new kitchen going in. Blake visits to see what you are planning, measures every room and checks the concrete or timber beneath. Thanks to his accountancy background with Baker Tilly, the quote you receive is precise.

After that, the work goes to a regular team of fitters we know and trust. Our supply and fit service page sets out what happens on the day.

Flooring for Holmes Chapel Homes

1960s and 70s family homes: houses being opened up into kitchen-diners, ideal for a single LVT floor through the ground floor.
Cottages near St Luke’s and the village centre: older properties that suit a warm oak or a traditional pattern.
Newer developments on the edge of the village: modern screeds, often with underfloor heating, ready for LVT or engineered wood.
Goostrey, Cranage and Allostock: barn conversions and country homes where character oak or a hard-wearing LVT works well.

Amtico in Holmes Chapel

We supply Amtico Signature, Spacia, Form, First, Click Smart and Access. Spacia is a sensible choice for a whole ground floor in a 1970s house. Signature offers borders and feature stripping.

See our Amtico floor fitter page for installation and where to buy Amtico in Altrincham for the showroom.

Karndean in Holmes Chapel

All six Karndean ranges we sell are available: Art Select, Van Gogh, Van Gogh Rigid Core, Knight Tile, Knight Tile Rigid Core and Palio Essenza. Van Gogh suits barn conversions in Goostrey particularly well.

Weigh them up with our Amtico vs Karndean guide. Fitting is on the Karndean floor fitter page and display details in our Karndean guide.

Invictus, Project Floors & GF

Invictus brings four Belgian-engineered ranges for less, laid out on our Invictus floor fitter page. Project Floors is the durable pick for family hallways.

Our GF range matches the big brands at a sharper price. We also fit Textures and Elements, two plank and herringbone ranges in wood effects. Get free samples of GF, Textures and Elements sent to you. More on the LVT floor fitter page.

Engineered Wood in Holmes Chapel

Real oak adds warmth to a cottage and works over underfloor heating in a new extension. Our own GF engineered wood comes in plank, herringbone, chevron and Versailles. Every board is in the Wood Room.

Considering Ted Todd or Woodpecker? Our articles looking for a Ted Todd alternative? and looking for a Woodpecker alternative? compare them with GF. See the engineered wood floor fitter page for fitting.

Can I See the Floors Before I Buy?

Yes. Our Altrincham showroom at 82 Stamford New Road is around 30 minutes away through Knutsford. It runs as a 24/7 Smart Showroom, so request a door code and plan your visit around school runs and work.
