We Supply and Fit Across Chester – And We Come to You
We supply and fit your floor as one managed project. Blake comes to your home, measures each room, checks the subfloor and talks you through the options. He trained and qualified as an accountant at Baker Tilly, so expect a clear, itemised written quote covering the flooring, preparation and fitting with no hidden extras.
The floor is laid by a regular team of fitters we know and trust, from single rooms to whole ground floors and full renovations. There is no minimum job size. See how our supply and fit service works.
Why Chester Homeowners Use Us
Someone Who Knows the City
Blake grew up in Chester and now lives just outside it. He surveys every job himself, from Hoole terraces to Curzon Park villas, so the person writing your quote is the person who has seen your house.
Fitters Who Finish the Job
Every floor is laid by a regular team we know and trust. Customers rate us 4.8 from more than 145 Google reviews.
Every Brand Side by Side
Amtico, Karndean, Invictus and Project Floors are laid out at full size in Altrincham, so you can hold a Signature plank next to a Van Gogh one before you decide.
Real Wood, Shown Properly
Our separate Wood Room displays engineered boards in large panels, including our own GF range, so colour and grain are easy to judge.

Flooring for Chester Homes
Chester has a real mix of homes and each area has its own character:
Whatever the house, Blake will look at how you use each room and recommend a floor to suit it.
Amtico Flooring in Chester
As an Amtico Retail Partner we supply every current collection: Amtico Signature, Amtico Spacia, Amtico Form, Amtico Access, Amtico Click Smart and Amtico First. Amtico is still the benchmark for premium luxury vinyl tile in the UK and the brand most local customers ask for by name.
In the showroom, Amtico planks and tiles are laid out full size and the stone designs sit alongside the wood designs so you can judge scale and colour against photos of your own rooms. You can also see the borders, feature stripping and laying patterns that set Amtico apart.
We supply and fit Amtico as one service. See our Amtico floor fitter page, browse the full Amtico range or read why you should buy Amtico from an Amtico Retail Partner.
Karndean Flooring in Chester
As a Karndean Retail Partner we supply the complete range: Art Select, Knight Tile, Knight Tile Rigid Core, Palio Essenza, Van Gogh and Van Gogh Rigid Core. Karndean competes head-to-head with Amtico on design and durability and the right choice usually comes down to the look you want.
Our displays let you put a Van Gogh oak plank next to an Amtico Signature wood plank, or Knight Tile next to the equivalent Amtico Spacia. That kind of direct comparison isn’t possible online. Our Amtico vs Karndean guide compares them side by side and our Karndean floor fitter page explains how we fit it.
Invictus & Project Floors
We also supply the full Invictus and Project Floors collections, two premium European LVT brands. From Invictus we stock Maximus, Maximus Click, Primus and Ultimus, plus the Project Floors Wood Plank Collection, Herringbone and Chevron ranges. Our Invictus floor fitter page explains how we fit all four Invictus ranges.
Invictus is our pick for anyone who wants top-end looks at a lower price point than Amtico Signature. Project Floors suits busier households and rental properties that need a heavy-duty wear layer. Read our introduction to Invictus or see our LVT floor fitter page.
We also supply and fit Textures and Elements, two wood-effect plank and herringbone LVT ranges. Free samples are available on both. Project Floors glue-down LVT is another option for busy family homes.
Engineered Wood for Chester Homes
Most of Chester’s Georgian and Victorian houses were built with timber floors. A good engineered oak brings that character back. A small sample cannot show how a brushed, smoked or hardwax-oiled board looks across a whole room. That is why our Altrincham showroom has a dedicated Wood Room where boards are laid out at full size.
Find out more about the Wood Room, read our guide to engineered wood in Chester or see the best engineered wood flooring in the UK. Fitting is explained on our engineered wood floor fitter page.
Priced Up V4, Ted Todd or Woodpecker? See GF First
V4, Ted Todd and Woodpecker all make fine floors and plenty of Chester customers come to us after pricing one of them. They sit at the top of the market. GF often matches their construction, finish and wear layer for noticeably less.
These four articles set out the comparisons:
Bring your quote or a sample to the Wood Room and we will find the nearest GF board so you can compare the two.
Can I See the Floors Before I Buy?
Yes. Everything is on full-size display in our Altrincham showroom at 82 Stamford New Road, WA14 1BS, about 45 minutes away via the M56 with on-site parking. It runs as a 24/7 Smart Showroom, so you can request a door code online and visit at any time, including evenings and weekends.
If you would rather not travel, start with Blake’s home visit and come to the showroom later to make your final choice. Many of our customers do it that way round.

Where can I buy Amtico in Chester?
Grosvenor Flooring is an Amtico Retail Partner and supplies and fits every current Amtico collection across the city. Blake visits your home to measure up and quote and the full range is on display in our 24/7 Smart Showroom in Altrincham.
Is there a flooring fitter in Chester?
Yes. We supply and fit Amtico, Karndean, Invictus, Project Floors, GF and engineered wood throughout the city. Blake surveys every job and the floor is fitted by a regular team of fitters we know and trust.
Can I visit the showroom outside normal working hours?
Yes. Our Altrincham showroom is a 24/7 Smart Showroom. Request a door code online and visit at any time, including evenings and weekends.
Which LVT brands do you stock?
We’re an Amtico Retail Partner and a Karndean Retail Partner and we also carry the full Invictus and Project Floors collections, all on display at full size.
Is your GF range cheaper than brands like V4, Ted Todd or Woodpecker?
In most cases yes. Our exclusive GF engineered wood range offers comparable construction, finish and wear layer at a meaningful saving. Bring a quote or a sample and we’ll put it alongside the GF equivalent.
Do you offer supply and fit or supply only?
Both. Most customers choose our supply and fit service, fitted by a regular team of fitters we know and trust, but we’re also happy to supply only if you have your own fitter.
Is the flooring suitable for underfloor heating?
Most of our LVT and engineered wood ranges are compatible, but it depends on the subfloor, the system and the board construction. Blake checks this on his visit so you don’t end up with a floor that isn’t suitable.
Do you offer free samples?
Free samples are available on our own GF range. You can see Amtico, Karndean, Invictus and Project Floors on full-size display in our Altrincham showroom.
